Winter Wedding Guests

Matthew and I had the pleasure of attending our two good friends' winter wedding recently. It was so so so beautiful, every detail. The wedding was held at Lake Quivera, which is beautiful on an average day, but during the Christmas season and decorated for a Christmas themed wedding? Absolutely breathtaking.

I think my absolute favorite part was that every single guest there seemed to genuinely be having the time of their life. It was beautiful to see the bride and groom's family and friends all mingling and dancing together and celebrating the new couple! Also, since I began school online and Matthew and I moved I haven't been able to get together with my friends quite as often, so it was nice to have the gang back together. It was like a little reunion for everyone.

Congratulations Nick and Isabel! Many blessings for your beautiful marriage!

Dressing for a formal winter event can be super tricky, but I think the key is just wearing a nice wrap. If you wear a coat, you'll want to take it off indoors, but you run the risk of being chilly all night. With a wrap, it'll keep you warm outdoors and looks totally fine also worn indoors. Other easy go-to winter trends are sparkly pieces, lace, warm colors, and TIGHTS believe it or not are coming back. If you're really worried about feeling cold all night opt for a full-length romper/jumpsuit with a wrap. I've seen a lot of really nice pleated and velvet jumpsuits that would look wonderful at a wedding or any formal event.

Jumpsuits: Chelsea28 - Lost + Wander - Line & Dot - Leith - Sierra

My outfit: Coach sparkly heels (no longer sold, similar linked) - Bling Glamour by Nicole dress (similar) - wrap (soooo soft and cozy!)

Have a wonderful Saturday!!
