Another Summer/Fall Transition Concept

pls don't judge me for forgetting my metal straw

The other day I was staring into my closet trying to put together a "new" outfit. All clothes I've worn before of course, but a completely new combination that I haven't worn. What I ended up with is possibly my new favorite outfit, and will be kept on rotation for as long as it's warm enough!

I know at first glance this just seems like a summer look, but I'm considering this another transition outfit for a few reasons. 1. It will look great with a leather bootie. 2. I plan on rocking pastel pink a TON this fall. 3. The skirt is an eyelet denim, and while eyelet is 100% a summer thing, denim is definitely a fall texture/material! And lastly, 4. The dark purple silk hair scarf screams fall no matter what outfit it's paired with. 5. Early Midwest falls are just as hot as summer, so my fall transition outfits tend to be summer looks with fall colors.

I love the ruffles on this top. My super broad shoulders from my many years of gymnastics never went away (I don't think that's something that just goes away.....lol) so tops like this with drapey or loose ruffly sleeves are really flattering on me. If you also have broad shoulders or arms this top is perfect and I'll link a few more!
