Fall Transition Outfit!!

Actually first here's Teddy |
I'm. So. Excited. It's August which basically means it's fall. For basically my whole life I would actually get sad when fall began because I've always adored spring and summer (mostly spring but ya know) but last year was the first year I got giddy at the thought of fall. I thought it would be my first and ONLY year super excited for fall, but here we are! I'm even more excited for fall festivities than I was last year! So as soon as August began I worked on putting together an easy to duplicate summer to fall transition look and here it is!
This is a great transition outfit because it's equally as summery as it is fall-y (haha) thanks to the eyelet details on the top (summer) and the color scheme (fall)! This was mostly created with pieces I already had in my closet so I found some very similar items on Amazon! I actually like the top I found on Amazon way more than the one I used and will order it soon lol. Linked in the caption to the photo below!

cardigan - eyelet top - jeans - sandals |
Midwest weather is so odd, especially in a season transition. While we're gearing up for fall, it can be pretty chilly in the morning and evening but unbelievably hot during the day. So it's good to have a few of these transition outfits on hand. They should be complete without the cardigan or jacket but look just as good during the chilly parts of the day when you have to throw the cardigan on! I feel like sometimes when I realize it's getting chilly out I grab the nearest jacket or cardigan and just toss it over my shoulders. Nine times out of ten it doesn't add anything pleasant to the outfit so I'll be keeping this transition outfit and a few similar ones in mind.
Thanks so much for reading! Also, a few of these items are affiliate links! So thank you SO MUCH if you end up ordering! It means a lot to me! As I begin to incorporate affiliate links I want to make it very clear that I will only ever link items that I would actually recommend even if I wasn't earning a percentage of sales. I will NEVER post about something just for the incentive! Rest assured!!
Thank you again for reading my post, I'm looking forward to providing more fall content!!
