Our Wedding Save the Date Photos

Matthew, Teddy and I got lots of photos taken on my parent's sailboat last weekend! My mother is a photographer specializing in weddings so she suggested we try this for our save the dates! They all turned out really great and I'm having a hard time deciding which one to use. I thought I would share my favorites of the photos we got not only to brag about my mother's amazing photography (😉) but also just because it was a fun part of wedding planning that I thought you would enjoy seeing!

I would definitely recommend having a quick photo shoot (separate from engagement photos and separate from wedding invite photos) specifically for your save the dates! It makes every step of the planning process seem very special. I found trying to create save the dates can pretty boring before I had a set of new beautiful photos to choose from to use with them. 

If you plan on doing save the date photos remember that they should follow your wedding theme at least in a small way. I tried to keep the color scheme similar and used some of the same flowers I will be using! I hope you guys enjoy the photos!

My outfit: cardigan - top (my Tresics boyfriend pocket tee is the most comfortable tee I've everrrrr worn, LOTS of colors to choose from! the fit is loose and drapey so order your true size for it to fit loose) - shorts - shoes - earrings - Urban Decay lipgloss
