Sephora Sale: 20% Off

When the sale was about to start I asked for recommendations from my Instagram followers who frequently shop at Sephora and I decided to put a post together with the things I got and most of the recommended items. 

Products I brought home with me:

1. Too Faced Shadow Insurance

Since I am still (relatively) new to the beauty scene, I hadn't tried an eyeshadow primer before. The difference is astonishing! It REALLY is. I've always used Urban Decay's first Naked palette before I branched out and got a few new ones within the past year, and since their formula is amazing anyway, I didn't necessarily notice anything wrong with my eyeshadow application other than the fact that it would crease and be less dramatic by the end of the day. With Shadow Insurance it doesn't budge at all. However, there are some shimmer shadows in the new palette that I got from Sephora that don't apply as well as I would want them to. 2. Glamglow Supermud Clearing Treatment

I've talked a million times about my skin struggles, and for the most part I finally have a skincare routine that keeps my skin clear. But of course I still have phases every once in a while where my skin breaks out and it seems like I just have to wait it out, which is terrible. I'm most aware of my skin and teeth and I spend the most time searching ways to keep them healthy. When this treatment was recommended to me I was immediately drawn in. I also happened to be going through a bad skin phase, and this mask was a life saver. I literally noticed improvement in my skin the very first time I used the mask, and that is not an exaggeration. This would be a wonderful gift for literally anyone! It's formulated for both women and men and I promise they'll love it. 

3. Glamglow Mega Illuminating Moisturizer

This wasn't recommended to me by anyone, but I saw it when I was looking for the Supermud mask and since I was doing my week without makeup, I knew a new moisturizer would be beneficial. This one smells amazing and makes my skin keep that fresh feeling you get after your morning face wash 😋 Does anyone know what I'm talking about?? My skin always feels SO AMAZING right after I finish my morning routine but that feeling usually wears off around noon. This mask keeps that feeling going all day. 

4. Urban Decay Naked Cherry Eyeshadow Palette

This is so beautiful! I think this palette is perfect for me because there are usually multiple colors in the large palettes that I won't use because I don't tend to stray from neutrals, but I will definitely use every color in the Cherry palette. They're all beautiful tans, pinks, and red hued browns and I can't get enough of it.

5. Laneige Lip Sleep Mask

I didn't purchase this because they were sold out, but I sampled it out and holy gracious! This would be an amazing stocking stuffer or just gift! I have super dry lips and even the tiny sample they gave me has made an amazing difference and has lasted me a few weeks of using it around 5x per week. You literally only need the tiniest amount so it's worth spending more than chapstick. ALSO, I don't think comparing it to a regular lip balm is fair because this is so much more than that. It's a literal mask/treatment for your lips and it works like an expensive skincare treatment would. LOVE. THIS.

6. Fresh Products

The entire brand of Fresh products was recommended to me- haha. I didn't purchase any this time because I already had so many things that I wanted! However I did peep at them, and a few products stood out. The Soy Face Cleanser was super intriguing. Using more natural products is always a good idea. Its easier on your skin and usually better for the environment! I was also really interested in the Rose Deep Hydration Moisturizer. I always drift toward products made with roses because they naturally treat acne and redness (which I have a lot of!).
