My December Trunk Club

My second Trunk Club came in this week and it was just like Christmas day AGAIN 😍 I'm convinced this will never get old. This time Rebekah sent some holiday pieces, some cozy winter pieces, and leggings and jeans for me to try! Like last time, I loved every single item and honestly how dare her send such an amazing trunk because you know, budgets. Without further ado, my December trunk!

These high-waisted moto leggings are soooo wonderful! They suck everything in- in a VERY comfortable way. Not like Spanx or something that makes you feel like you can't breathe. These are by Zella, and in my opinion... Zella > Lululemon! Don't get me wrong Lululemon is great, but Zella is so underrated (and more affordable)!! Try these out for sure!

The other Trunk Club item I'm wearing in the above photos is a Caslon sweater. It's super lightweight but still very warm and the color is great. It's just called gray, but the knit-work incorporates lots of little beautiful colors in the threads that you can barely see unless you look close, which IMO makes it even more beautiful!

This comes in five colors and they're ALL in stock!

Theodore makes many appearances in this post....enjoy

This sweater looked super cute with these joggers that Rebekah sent. I was worried about these when I opened the package because they're pretty thick, and all of the leggings I've bought that are thick for the winter months honestly just made me feel heavy and awkward but while these were thick they didn't do that! They were super warm and fit well and the green is a beautiful color. Also, large pockets....What else can a person ask for in their joggers. (These are SO CUTE in the pink color- link below)

The last way I styled this sweater is with some Paige skinny jeans and some gorgeous booties I was sent.

Size down in the Paige skinnies- they're super long and the waist is also slightly large. However, they're super comfortable and soft and I love a good high-rise.

The Madewell booties are also very comfortable and the color worked well with almost everything in this trunk. Versatile shoes are always a win! Also- shoes make great Christmas gifts so if you're still looking for someone it's guaranteed that they'll love these!

The booties also looked great with this top!! On the hanger I was NOT a fan of this top but it somehow transforms when you get it on your body. I LOVE where the shoulder seam hits- right below the shoulder and I LOVE the split seam bottom. The colors are gorgeous in person. This top also comes in a beautiful casual red stripe and it's linked below the photos!

Another top I was sent was this flow-y ruffle top by the same brand as the last top. It's pretty see-through so you either have to just not care or wear a really cute bralette underneath! I do love how the top looks on though! I got my true size and it fits a little more snugly than it shows in the photo on Nordstrom's website, so if you want that kind of fit (loose and flow-y) order one size up!

The last thing I styled with these jeans and boots is MY FAVORITE ITEM IN THE BOX!!

This Topshop sweater is what dreams are made of!! It's sooo soft and cozy and has a great oversized fit. I'm wearing a size 2 which is my usual size in tunics and sweaters, and I probably could have sized down in this. If you watch my stories there's a good video showing how this lays. I already had my 12 days of Christmas planned (follow along on Insta and the LTK app!!) buuuut I might move some things around and style this pink sweater for a Christmas look! I really can't say enough good things about this sweater so I'll leave it at that.

The other pair of jeans I was sent were by Madewell and they're fantastic.

These are more high-waisted than the Paige denim in the best way possible. They're sooo comfortable- it was like wearing leggings. And also soooo soft (again....are these leggings or jeans?) These fit true to size and I would recommend these to anyone looking for a good black jean!

Now for a change of pace! Rebekah asked how I felt about leopard print....and I wanted to be bold enough to try something other than my cute little leopard print shoes...so we went with this bold skirt.

(Also here is where I'd like to apologize for the state of my mirror...Theodore's favorite thing to do is look at himself and slap the mirror so that's what he does when he's having a bad day😂)

While the skirt IS cute, it is NOT my vibe at all 😂 I wanted so badly to love this skirt but it is not doing me any favors. I would like to have sized down because the waist is super big but it's already too short so that would be a no-go. I do think this is a really really cute skirt and would work if I were just shorter so I could size down.

I styled this with my own black top and the Madewell booties!

Lastly I received some beautiful holiday dresses! One was a gorgeous red wrap dress and the other was a sparkly LBD! Those will be linked in 12 Days of Christmas Looks if ya want to see them!! Keep an eye out by downloading the LIKEtoKNOW.it app and following me there!
