My Saturday Six

Happy Saturday! I'm excited to share this Saturday's six happy things! Let me know in the comments something that made you smile this week- something that would make your Saturday Six list!

1. Yellow Daisy Pom Flowers: Last weekend, from Thursday to Monday, both of my boys were very sick. It was so heartbreaking to see them both so sick (especially Theodore). A few nights I didn't even put Theodore to bed, I just held him while he slept. I scrubbed the entire apartment at least four times and washed everything that could be put in a washing machine because I wanted every single remaining germ to be washed down the drain. It was a rough time, but Matthew brought home the most beautiful flowers when the storm was over for "being super-mom" and it made my WEEK!

Having this vase of bright yellow daisy poms in the middle of winter adds so much cheer 😊 highly recommend.

2. Football playoff season: .....yes, playoff season. I don't necessarily get too amped up about most sports, but I DO enjoy playoff season for a special reason. Every time that the Patriots win a playoff game, Matthew brings me home a bouquet of flowers 😂 Last week when they won against the Chargers, he brought me pink daisies and I'm super excited to see what flowers he chooses when they beat the Chiefs 😉

3. Bachelor Mondays: BACHELOR MONDAYS ARE BACK. So, we have Sling. And it turns out FreeForm is not ABC? So I can't watch it live- I have to wait to watch it on Hulu the following week. Which is fine...I suppose. It's just super hard to avoid spoilers! My favorite girls as of now are Hannah G., Hannah B., Caelynn, Katie, and Kirpa. I didn't realize I had so many favorites until now, LOL. And two of my favorites are low-key rivals (Hannah B. and Caelynn) so everyone thinks they'll have a two-on-one date therefore one will be eliminated, so I should probably choose a side soon. Do any of you already have a "side" regarding those two?? Also, let me know your favorite girls and why!!

4. Sleepy Time Tea: I love Sleepy Time tea. I have always had a pretty hard time falling asleep, I'm not sure what it is. For a while I would literally take ZQuil to fall asleep a few times per week but I started to realize that was super unhealthy. When I stumbled upon this tea I figured I'd give it a go but didn't really have high hopes for it- I was wrong! It works so well! And I love tea so I have a cup of this tea every single night now. It really just relaxes you and gets you in the right mindset to have a good solid sleep. I use "SleepyTime Extra", but there's also peach, lavender, and original.

5. Heart Jar: I found my cute little heart jar in the little "deals" section Target has. I like to keep a jar or something similar on the kitchen counter because clutter like keys, coins, pens, etc. drive me nuts if they're all over the place. So if I see them sitting out I simply throw it in the jar. I've found a few options that could function similarly - option 1 - option 2

6. Saturday Morning Yoga: Forever ago Matthew told me he wanted to try out yoga for a while because we have both obviously heard a lot of great benefits come from doing yoga regularly. So we decided we'd both do yoga together on Saturdays since that tends to be the only time we have free. So for about a month I've been doing yoga on Saturday morning and I'm looooving it. It's so refreshing and relaxing. Matthew has yet to join me but I'm sure when he realizes it's actually benefiting me he'll decide to. I linked the quick 10 minute video I've been following in the title to this section! I'm definitely a beginner so if you are too, it'll be perfect for ya!

Let me know the wonderful things that happened to you this week or the fun new products you discovered!
