My Favorite Maternity Boutique and Speaking on My Pregnancy Struggles

Hi all! While I was pregnant, and even now that a lot of YOU are expecting (yay!) I've been asked many times for places to shop online with maternity clothes that are actually cute, and can be worn after pregnancy. This was one of the things I struggled with as well during pregnancy! I had a really hard time buying an entire new wardrobe to be worn only for nine months, so for a while I resorted to wearing oversized things that I already had.

I felt so lucky to have found Pink Blush Maternity, and this is what I always recommend to you all! Pink Blush gifted me what I'm wearing here from their maternity tops to share with you all. This sweater is actually a maternity sweater that I still find myself wearing (there IS a non-maternity version on their site)!! I love the off-the-shoulder look so this larger fitting sweater is perfect for that. That's one of the things I've found I love about their clothes- you can wear them while you're pregnant and they look just as cute when you're not. They also offer regular women's wear and I am constantly browsing their site now.  Just in case you're not expecting but happen to be in love with their clothes 😉

On a more serious note, I wanted to collaborate with Pink Blush so badly because they really helped me during my pregnancy. I think it's so important to cater to your growing body during this period, and not just hide it like I tried to for a while. For me, having always had some body image issues, grasping that my round belly was a beautiful thing was kind of difficult at first. I have always loved clothes and fashion in general so honestly the first step for me was finding something cute to wear that was made for my belly. When I tried on these maternity clothes I felt pretty again, belly and all! It was a long process, but taking the first step to try to feel cute again really boosted my self-esteem and got the self-confidence ball rolling. If you're having any internal issues watching as not only your belly, but everything grows during your pregnancy, trust me that your growing body is a beautiful, honorable thing and deserves to be dressed as such. I haven't spoken at all about the struggles I felt when I first started jumping sizes, because as a mommy-to-be we're supposed to be super excited and happy all the time, right? I learned as time went along (when I met Teddy), that my body adjusting to foster this perfect little buddy is the best thing I have ever experienced! I would love to chat with anyone about their pregnancy experiences! Whether they have been fantastic or maybe not exactly what you expected, please reach out! I will always have open ears and I know it may be hard to talk about. I'm rooting for you!

Thank you for reading!
