Spring Treats

I hear so often that Spring doesn't last long enough, or that people feel as if it's over before they even celebrated the season, and I'm here to fix that issue! One of the best ways to celebrate the spring season (my absolute favorite) is to take advantage of the flavors! I'm dreaming of spring all year 'round so I'm always saving recipes that I'll try come the season, so today I'm sharing my favorites and where you can get the recipes!

Today I made a lemon bundt cake by Sweet and Savory Meals. This was my first time making a bundt cake and it was simple and DELICIOUS. Just for fun, I added oven-dried and sugared lemons to the top of my bundt cake (chop a lemon into even, thin slices, set on a metal cooling rack on top of a baking sheet prepared with parchment paper on top, bake at 170 degrees for 3 hours, rotate after every hour, sprinkle sugar over the top as soon as they're done). I prepared these in the morning way before I planned on making the bundt cake so they'd have plenty of time to cool (and if I messed them up I could try again, honestly).

By Taming of the Spoon, this tart is perfect for a spring brunch such as a Mother's Day brunch! Take note, friends. Mother's Day is quickly approaching!

I made these muffins from No Spoon Necessary not too long ago and I'll never forget the first bite 😂 I actually brought a few to my parents but we all spent the day outside of the house and when we got back they were gone! I asked around to see who ate ALL of the muffins and everyone said it wasn't them...slowly I found wrappers laying around the house and they were crumpled and super wet and I was SO confused! Eventually I saw my puppy happily trotting around with little lemon crumbles all over her face and everything finally made sense! Our puppy had jumped onto the table (this is a HIGH table we're talking about!!) and dropped all of the muffins on the floor, hid them, and was eating them one by one! Anyway, I re-made an entire batch of these muffins so my family could finally enjoy them. It was worth the extra work!!

There's not much I love more during the spring than perfectly roasted veggies with spring-y herbs 😍 These carrots from Ahead of Thyme do NOT disappoint- Elizabeth Taylor guarantee!!

Don't let spring slip away, friends! Choose one or two (all?) of these recipes and immerse yourselves in the season.

Thank you for reading!
