Wearing Your Summer Dresses Into Fall
Hi all! If you're sad about summer coming to it's end, don't worry! You can still wear some of your favorite summer dresses if it's done the right way. I LOVE this blue maxi from Pink Blush Maternity and I'm absolutely not ready to stop wearing it during the fall.
First of all, swap your summer sandals for an easy going sneaker! I knotted the bottom of my dress to wear it more casually with my sneakers. Some dresses are super hard to knot but this one is only lined through right above the knee so there isn't too much fabric at the bottom to knot it well. In other words, you won't have to re-do your knot every five minutes throughout your day.
Lastly, the two magic pieces that can turn your summer dress into a fall dress are a denim jacket or a basic sweater! I'm wearing my favorite white cable sweater tossed over my shoulder for a slightly chillier day, and it would look just as cute actually worn (not just on the shoulders) if the day were colder. Pink Blush's selection of sweaters is amazing! And after browsing their site, I found this super cute denim jacket that would look great thrown over a dress. Also, they carry maternity and XS through plus sizes which is amazing! It's so hard to find inclusive brands and I think they do a beautiful job of representing every woman.
I took the liberty of picking out a few favorites from Pink Blush that I think will wear great into the fall: Gray Stripe Maxi - Button Front Maxi - Plaid Button Down Dress - Sage Bell Sleeve Dress
I hope you're all excited to continue to wear these dresses into the next season! Nothing is worse than putting away your favorite pieces from your closet from summer- and now we get to keep some around 😊 Thank you for reading!
