Effective At Home Teeth Whitening for Coffee Drinkers + Giveaway!

Hi all! I'm honored to be working with smile brilliant to share their unique process with you all. You already know that I'm a teeth-whitening veteran- I've tried just about every product under the sun because of the amount of coffee I drink! It can be so hard to keep my teeth white, lol. Most of the issues that I've had with the others, Smile Brilliant did better! I found with other products that it took purchasing the whitening treatment a few times in a row to get the intended results, or that the whitening application wasn't stable/staying on top of my teeth, or I got tired of holding a light to my face, lol. I'm going to quickly walk you through the Smile Brilliant process so you can see for yourself how they fix these issues.

1. Order your kit and make your molds.

There are very straight to the point and easy to follow instructions that explain how to make your own personal teeth molds! They do this so the whitening gel will be molded to each individual tooth.

2. Receive your personalized tooth trays from Smile Brilliant within two weeks (in my case)! It was so darn quick. When you receive the trays you want to be sure they fit correctly and then you can start whitening! Use the orange syringe to slowly make a thin line along the inside of both trays and pop them in!

3. Be sure to desensitize after whitening!

This was super convenient for me to use. I noticed it especially one weekend that I needed to travel but didn't want to give up a day of whitening! Since the trays came in a nice little storage box and the syringes have a built in cap, I was able to pop them both into my purse without worrying about them getting dirty or spilling and I was able to easily whiten in a location other than my own home that weekend. It was phenomenal!

A few tips:

You'll want to be cautious at first with the amount of time you leave the trays in. In the beginning I could do just under one hour without feeling irritation (which is normal) and after a while I was able to extend it to a full hour (some days 1.5 hours).
You need to use the desensitizing gel! It's suggested that you use it for around 30 minutes, but I made sure to use it for the same amount of time that I whitened. The gel will help retain the whiteness that you just achieved and also obviously prevent your teeth from getting sensitive! None of the other companies that I've used have offered a desensitizing product in their package 😉
I recommend whitening at night. It's suggested that you don't eat or drink anything with a dark color (wine, coffee, juices...etc.) for a few hours after you whiten, but it was always meal time by the time I finished whitening so I kept running into the issue of being super hungry. Eventually I started whitening and desensitizing for the last two hours that I would stay up at night and I noticed a huge difference in the way my teeth were able to retain their white color. It was a night and day difference.

Okay you guys, the moment you've obviously been waiting for- the before and after! Keep in mind I already regularly used a few other whitening treatments probably once a month and Smile Brilliant still made this much of a difference. I am super impressed!

*While there is a difference in lighting here, there is also a clear improvement in the whiteness of my teeth!*
