Spring Basics

Hey all! I can't even express how excited I am to be writing about spring! I just gave myself a pastel blue mani/pedi and refreshed our living room flowers so I'm feeling very seasonal. During spring I love lightweight/layer-able fabrics, soft colors, and comfortable fits. Spring is all about comfort, ease, sunshine, and new-ness! I thought the perfect first spring post would be about a few favorite basics to get us started. Today I'm wearing almost all Old Navy- you really can't go wrong with Old Navy and I stand by that. I've also noticed that Target's new spring arrivals have been phenomenal- that store just keeps amazing me. If you have a place you love to shop that has fantastic spring arrivals right now please let me know! Comment or message me on Insta (@elizabetht.taylor).
Today's spring outfit: jeans - shoes (obviously not wearing them here, lol) - top - earrings - hair scarf

I love this top because it's stretchy, the sleeves are slightly longer than 3/4 length (my arm makes it look like the shirt is long sleeve but it definitely is not), and the square neckline is so flattering! These jeans have been my go-to's for a while now. They're flattering, comfortable, and trendy as the ends are frayed and the fit is "boyfriend"! Spring is a great time for little hair accessories and today I'm wearing a black hair scarf tied into a bow. Lastly I have on a pair of my newest earrings to my Etsy- little gold heart studs.

I'm obsessed with these new earrings on my Etsy! They also come in a drop/dangle style.

Here are a few more of my favorite pieces for spring! I found these at Nordstrom, Old Navy, and Red Dress Boutique.

Spring is my favorite season- I love everything about it. I really hope to post a lot this spring. I've been working on becoming a better baker so maybe some yummy (not healthy, lol) recipes! Definitely more fashion, more books, home decor??, flower pot gardening as I don't have a yard....if I missed anything you really want to see this spring please let me know! Comment below or obviously send me a quick message on Instagram.

Thank you for reading! Happy almost spring!
