Truly Beauty
You guys have heard me go on and on about Truly Beauty on Instagram for soooo long now. They're passionate about sustainability, clean + vegan, and cruelty free. And they products are amazing. So far everything I've tried has worked so well. I began using the products around two months before they reached out to me to collaborate and my opinion of them since has only gotten better!
The love affair began with the acne patches. (I purchased these myself, pre-collaboration) You wear a little acne patch overnight and it seriously sucks out all the yuckiness inside the acne and you can actually see it on the patch. Most intensely working acne products are around $35-$50? ish dollars, so for $13 these are such a steal. And, of course, you can get an additional discount on trulybeauty.com with TRULYET1 😊
See the serum in the photo below? It's phenomenal. It's called the Mary Jane Glow serum and it does exactly that. It has antioxidants in it which truly nourish your skin so it has no choice but to glow! It's also amazing for hydration which I am constantly in need of.

So you can purchase the acne patches separately (shown in the second photo) or you can purchase this acne kit ($20) (which I would one million percent recommend)! The kit comes with an acne extractor tool, one sheet of acne patches, three black head strips for the nose, and a super effective spot treatment! Some acne spot treatments at this size go for $30 themselves, so you're getting an amazing value. I have persistent, painful acne and this kit helps so much. There is literally everything you need in here to clear your skin. I'm so impressed.
THIS. MASK. YOU GUYS. As I said I struggle with acne 24/7/365 so I do an acne "treatment" probably 5 times per week and use acne cleansers/patches 7 days per week. On days that I do a treatment my skin can be left a little roughed up for lack of better words, and leaving the skin as it is that way would be okay, but it wouldn't heal well. Does that make sense? Treating acne is crazy for me, lol. I was often scabbing over after acne treatments because a powerful treatment would lightly pull on the very thin top layer of skin but I had to do the treatment multiple times per week to rid my acne. Anyway, using this mask makes a world of a difference. It's intent is not to fix acne scarring or anything, but it does help me with that! It's a fantastic step after cleaning out your pores. It helps close them and repair the skin- it's so amazing. So in the shower I will exfoliate and cleanse and then out of the shower I will tone, use this mask, and then use an acne patch if it's the evening.
The last product I have tried so far is the "Unicorn CBD" whipped body butter. This was obviously not a miracle life changing skincare product BUT it did amaze me still. It's sooo luxurious and smells unbelievably yummy. I left this on my desk at our real estate office like last Thursday and I feel like everyone who sits around me 1. Was super curious at the name 😂 and 2. After they got past the name, they probably opened it up and might be obsessed with it by now. How could you resist opening this if you saw it on an unattended desk?? I would not have picked this stuff out myself had I seen it on the internet, but I'm so glad Truly sent it my way because I'm in love with it.
There is a plethora of products that I still want to try and I'll be ordering probably tomorrow honestly! Here are some of the things I have my eye on:
I think that about covers everything. I am so happy to have found a clean skincare brand. It's just about time we start thinking about not only the results our skincare gives us, but the processes that get us there. What are we putting onto our skin and therefore into our skin? Whatever gets put onto our skin is absorbed into our bloodstream- make sure it's clean. And not only made clean, but made ethically.
