My Spring Lemon Wreath
If you've followed me for some time, you know I'm a huge fan of a front door wreath. I adore them in every season but spring really gets me and I always have one up for spring. I honestly don't remember what I had up last year- Teddy was so little and my mind was elsewhere...I literally don't remember much from last spring because life was so crazy which is wild to think about. The only good photos that were taken last spring were all about Easter. Theodore wore the cutest little yellow onesie and this year we're thinking about dressing him in this cute bunny sweater because I'm obsessed with Easter bunnies. I look forward to Easter just like I look forward to summer and Christmas- it invigorates me lol!
Anyway, I kind of went off on a tangent. When I posted that I was making the ribbon for this year's front door wreath I got a good amount of positive feedback and curiosity about the final result. So I posted that as well and you all were just as excited as I was about the completed wreath! I didn't do a full "DIY" wreath this year like I did the year that I created the carrot wreath, I just added a ribbon thanks to some Pinterest inspo.
I found my wreath at Marshall's, but they haven't listed it online so I linked a Target version that's exactly the same price. Marshall's had soooo many cute options and I included some below that I found online that weren't in stores. These already have ribbons so they require no additional work! The ribbon was from Hobby Lobby of course- our store has an amazing assortment of ribbon. They have this same ribbon in navy that I almost went with but I was too nervous to stray too far from my Pinterest inspiration for fear of ruining the vibe 😂 Let's just say I'm not much of a risk taker. This year I did something super similar to #8 above from Pier 1, but the ribbon is what the wreath hang from. I just tied a bow onto the little white wreath hanger that I got from Hobby Lobby. The ribbon naturally curled from being wrapped on its spool and it has held it's curled for about an entire week now!
