My Best Summer Habit- Florals and Linen
Ok, so while 99% of the American population are already stocking up on cozy knits, pumpkin scented candles, and halloween decor, I'm soaking up every bit of summer there is left! Despite the Coronavirus, this summer was actually so fun for me and my family! We literally didn't do anything. Which is a first for us. And it was fantastic. I'm going to have a harder time letting go of this summer than I have any summer in the past just because of how slow and simple we kept it.
This time of year is always when we find those pieces that we loved all summer that are still appropriate for fall. For me, it's most neutral things, any capri length pant (I wear white all year-round and proud of it!), and casual tops with a sleeve. Generally those items from summer can go forward with you! The pieces in this outfit in particular will be worn all throughout fall. All of them worn together are very clearly only for summer, but you can pair the sandals with a nice dress in fall colors and a blazer/cardigan, you can pair the linen pants with a sweater and booties or flats, and the daisy top can be worn casually with dark wash jeans and a jacket!
Since the N-Sale is going on I thought the best place to link similar items for these pieces would obviously be Nordstrom. I still haven't decided if I'll do a separate post about my favorite sale pieces, but they are already picked out...so it'll probably happen. I feel like year after year people get more annoyed at the NSale but honestly I just get more excited for it.
