Forest Green for Fall

Right as the sun begins to set is my absolute favorite time of day. Oftentimes I've finished my work for the day by then, the day is the perfect temperature, and our backyard is 80% shaded. Theodore, Winston, and I always head to the backyard around this time while we wait for Matthew to get home and basic tom-foolery ensues. How lucky am I that my favorite fall-hued pant doubles for work and play? 😉

Forest green for fall is just about as ground breaking as florals for spring. However, it's still my favorite and I still get excited for it. Year after year my favorite brands come out with the most beautiful dark green fall pieces and I truly believe those pieces you invest in for fall will be worn for years to come. Some of my favorite pieces throughout the years are far from going out of style and I don't plan on stopping my collection any time soon.

In my opinion shades of darker greens like this pant work beautifully as an outfit neutral! Usually when I purchase anything that would be a focal point of an outfit (larger pieces like pants, jackets) I stick to neutrals such as white, beige, black...but during fall it all changes, lol. Since these shades of green can be worn with so much I feel comfortable purchasing these investment pieces in the green color! I picked out some of my favorite new fall pieces to share in the best green colors.

Okay, don't kill me for including that pretty pricy embroidered cardigan...in my dream closet that would happen like daily. Other than that though, this list is full of some great fall staples! The Courier Platform Sneaker is perfect for fall farmer's markets or evening strolls, the Renika Packable Quilted Jacket would be great for those chilly game day mornings, the Dantanie Bootie can be dressed up for work or down for a relaxed, socially-distanced brunch. You probably could've guessed by just glancing at my blog that I'm rather passionate of the color green (like...any shade at all) but it really comes out when the cooler temps hit! I hope you love these pieces as much as I do!

Thank you for reading!
