Dermadoctor Acne Serum Daily Before+After
If you've read even a single blog post of mine before, you probably already know my acne is just terrible. I've used a lot of acne serums because I do need to consistently use an acne product in my daily routine and I like to switch up what I use. My most recent acne serum was this Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Acen Serum.
I use this serum after washing and toning my face and before my moisturizer. Luckily, when I purchased this product I had some pretty bad acne that was quite apparent...lol. So I decided to document my skin daily while using this and see if you could notice a change within a few days, and I'm so glad I did that!
These are no filter, no retouching of any sort, and all taken during my evening skin routine.
Day 1: before using
Day 2: one use
Day 3: two uses (I look miserable in this photo 😂)
Day 4: three uses
Day 5: four uses
Do you see this?? It took four consistent uses to completely clear my skin. I'm almost through the whole tube now, and it has continued to work like a charm. There are days I neglect to do my whole skin routine and the following day I see and feel a noticeable difference. My pores look clogged and my face is much more oily when I don't use this product the evening before. I was literally just looking for the next acne product to keep the pimples at bay, but this clearly changed my skin for the better.
I will note that it tingles ever so slightly and you do not want to smell it. I even attempt at holding my breath while I'm applying the serum because the strong smell really hits you like a brick, no matter how many times you've smelled it. Also, I have to allow this product a very long time to dry and set into the skin before moving onto the next step of the skin routine, which is moisturizer. If I don't wait, the products react oddly with each other and it creates little sticky clumps that I have to peel off my skin...not a good look. But those are my only two complaints and I'm willing to put up with those things for the results it brings!
Since it's so strong/intense I recommend starting with a tiny amount. After a while my face began to really dry out, so now instead of applying it on the entire face I just do a small amount on each problem area. I feel like one of the things I talk with people on Instagram the most about is acne. I frequently have an acne issue I'm talking about and it seems like just about everyone else on earth does too. I spoke specifically with a few people who wanted to hear how this product worked, so since I'm unable to respond to Instagram messages right now, this blog post is for you guys! If anyone has questions about this product or my skin routine you can go ahead and ask on Insta (@elizabetht.taylor) or you can send it to my Facebook, or leave a comment here on the blog post! I see it all and I'll get back to you one way or another!
PS tomorrow is Friday 😍
Thank you for reading!!
